This is part two of our Season 4 Highlights where we share stories of unexpected discovery from caving in Vietnam, summiting Mount Whitney, hearing from a local Olympic Park Legend, skydiving during a solar eclipse, and spontaneously officiating a ceremony on a weekday hike. These are listener favorites from Season 4, and we’re excited to share them again.

Adventure is about finding yourself, and also finding a bunch of other stuffThis second "Best of" episode from Season 4 features stories that hit on a common theme for Boldly Went storytellers - the unexpected discoveries that are made in the midst of adventure. While some of those discoveries are figurative, like with Megan Averell's recognition that she is, indeed, a badass, others are literal, as in Drew Holmes' story of finding his lost GoPro in one of the most unique experiences imaginable.
Adventure, at its heart, is about discoveries both internal and external, so we're excited to share these storyteller's examples. We think you'll be as intrigued, inspired, and surprised by them as we were. |
